The Service Catalog should be the first stop when placing an IT Request.
What is the Service Catalog?
The Service Catalog consolidates all the services that you, as an employee, are entitled to. The catalog makes it easy for you to request services such as access, software/hardware, meeting rooms and more through a single access point on the portal.
How do I use the Service Catalog?
From the catalog landing page, you will see a list of Service Categories on the left. As you select a category, all service items within that Service Category are listed to the right. In addition, you can also use the search box to quickly find an enterprise approved product/service.
Once you select a service item you will be taken to the checkout page where you will find more details about the item. You will need to complete a short form with more information so that we can quickly review and complete your request.
Using this method will also help with routing your ticket to the appropriate department and team as well as getting any needed approvals for the item along the way.
Purchasing of Hardware and Software needs:
If you are requesting a service item that needs to be purchased, you will notice the estimated cost in (US dollars) underneath the service catalog item. The price listed is an estimate and may vary with options.
Once your request is submitted, items will be sent to the requester’s reporting manager OR department head for approval. Reporting Managers/Department Heads please click here to see the steps on how you will approve the item. Upon approval from the reporting manager OR department head the ticket will be released to the IT purchasing team.
